(창 18:12) 그러므로Therefore 사라Sarah가 속으로within herself 웃으며laugh래프ed 말했더라saying, ‘내가 늙었고 내 주 또한 늙었는데 내게 즐거움이 있으리오After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?’

(전 7:3) 슬픔Sorrow이 웃음보다 더 나으니is better than laughter랲터, 이는for 얼굴의 슬픔으로by the sadness of the countenance 마음이 더 나아지기the heart is made better 때문이라.

(행 20:37-38) 그리고And 그들 모두they all가 심히 울며wept sore, and 바울의 목을 껴안고fell on Paul's neck, and 그에게 입을 맞추었더라kissed him / 38 무엇보다도most of all 그들이 더 이상 자기 얼굴을 보지 못하리라that they should see his face no more고 그가 이른which he spake 그 말들로 인해for the words 슬퍼하였더라Sorrowing 그리고And 그들they이 그 배까지unto the ship 그를 동행하였더라accompanied him.
(스 3:12) 그러나But 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 다수와many of the priests and Levites and 자기들의 눈앞에서 이 집의 기초가 놓일 때when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes 그 첫 번째 집을 보았던that had seen the first house 고령자들인 아버지들의 우두머리chief of the fathers, who were ancient men가 큰 소리로 울었더라wept with a loud voice 그리고and 다수many가 기뻐서 소리를 내어 외쳤더라shouted aloud for joy.

(창 23:2) 그리고And 사라Sarah는 기럇아르바에서 죽었는데died in Kirjath-arba; 바로 그곳the same은 가나안 땅에 있는 헤브론이니라is Hebron in the land of Canaan. 그리고and 아브라함이 가서Abraham came 사라를 애도하며mourn 그녀로 인해 울었더라to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.

(삼하 11:26) ¶ 그리고And 우리야의 아내the wife of Uriah가 자기 남편 우리야가 죽었다는 것that Uriah her husband was dead을 듣고 그녀she는 자기 남편으로 인하여for her husband 애곡하였더라mourned.

(신 34:7-8) ¶ 그리고And 그가 죽었을 때when he died 모세Moses는 백이십 세였으나was an hundred and twenty years old 그의 눈이 침침하지 아니하였고his eye was not dim 또한 그의 타고난 힘도 줄지 아니하였더라nor his natural force abated. / 8 ¶ 그리고And 이스라엘의 자녀들the children of Israel이 모압 평야에서in the plains of Moab 모세를 위해for Moses 삼십 일 동안thirty days 울었더라wept 그렇게so 모세를 위한 울음과 애통의 날들the days of weeping and mourning for Moses이 끝났더라were ended.
(삼상 25:1) 그리고And 사무엘Samuel이 죽었더라died 그래서and 모든 이스라엘 사람들이 함께 모여all the Israelites were gathered together, and 그him를 애도했더라lamented ~~~

(욥 2:11) ¶ 이제Now 욥의 세 친구들Job's three friends 곧 데만 사람 엘리바스와 수아 사람 빌닷과 나아마 사람 소발Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite이 그에게 온that was come upon him 이 모든 재앙에 대해of all this evil 들었을 때when heard 그들they 각자가 다every one 자기 자신의 처소에서 갔더라came from his own place. 이는for 그들they이 함께 가서together to come 그와 함께 슬퍼하고 그를 위로하기로to mourn with him and to comfort him 약속했었기had made an appointment 때문이더라.
(시 88:9) 제 눈Mine eye이 고통으로 인해by reason of affliction 슬퍼하나이다mourneth. 주님이시여 제가 날마다 당신을 불렀나이다I have called daily upon thee. 저는 제 손을 당신께 펼쳤나이다I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

(창 27:34) 그리고And 에서가 자기 아버지의 말들을 듣고when Esau heard the words of his father 그he는 크고 심히 비통한 외침으로with a great and exceeding bitter cry 울며 자기 아버지에게 말씀드렸더라cried and said unto his father, ‘오 제 아버지시여, 저를 축복하소서. 제게도 그리하소서Bless me, even me also, O my father’ (히 12:17) ~~~ 눈물로with tears ~~~

(말 2:13) 그리고And 너희ye는 눈물로with tears 울음으로with weeping 그리고 부르짖음으로and with crying out 주의 제단the altar of the LORD을 덮으면서covering 다시again 이런 일을 행하여 왔도다this have done. 그러므로insomuch that 그he분께서는 더 이상 그 헌물을 중시하지 아니하시고regardeth not the offering any more, or 그것을 너희 손에서 선한 뜻으로 받지도 아니하시느니라receiveth it with good will at your hand.

(요 11:20-21) 그때에Then 마르다Martha는 예수님께서 오신다는 말을 자기가 듣자마자as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming 가서 그분을 맞이하였더라went and met him 하지만but 마리아는 집에 가만히 앉아 있었더라Mary sat still in the house. / 21 그때에Then 마르다가 예수님께 말씀드렸더라said Martha unto Jesus, ‘주Lord님 당신께서 여기 계셨더라면if thou hadst been here 제 오라버니가 죽지 아니하였으리이다my brother had not died.’
(요 11:32) 그때에Then 마리아가 예수님 계신 곳에 와서 그분을 보고서when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him 그녀는 그분의 발 앞에 엎드려 그분께 말씀드렸더라she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, ‘주Lord님 당신께서 여기 계셨더라면if thou hadst been here 제 오라버니가 죽지 아니하였으리이다my brother had not died.’

(요 11:33-38) 그러므로therefore 예수Jesus님께서 그녀가 우는 것her weeping 그리고and 그녀와 함께 온 유대인들도 우는 것the Jews also weeping which came with her을 보시고When saw 그he분께서는 영안에서 신음하시며 괴로워하셨더라groaned in the spirit, and was troubled / 34 그리고And 말씀하셨더라said, “너희가 그를 어디에 두었느냐Where have ye laid him?” 그들이 그분께 말씀드렸더라They said unto him, ‘주Lord님 오셔서 보시옵소서come and see.’ / 35 예수Jesus님께서 우셨더라wept. / 36 그러자 유대인들이 말했더라Then said the Jews, ‘보라, 그분께서 그를 얼마나 사랑하셨는가Behold how he loved him!’ / 37 그리고And 그들 중의 일부가 말했더라some of them said, ‘눈먼 자의 눈들을 열어 준 이 사람이 이 사람조차 죽지 않게 할 수는 없었는가Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?’ / 38 그러므로therefore 예수님께서 다시 속으로 신음하시며Jesus again groaning in himself 무덤에 가시는데cometh to the grave 그 것은 동굴이었고 그 것위에 돌이 하나 놓였더라It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

→ 자기의 잘못을 깨닫고 깊이 뉘우침. → 하나님 앞에서 죄를 회개하고 용서를 빎.

(막 14:71-72) 그러나But 그he가 ‘나는 너희가 말하는 이 사람을 알지 못하노라I know not this man of whom ye speak.’고 말하면서saying 저주하고 욕하기 시작했더라began to curse and to swear. / 72 그리고And 수탉이 두 번째 울었더라the second time the cock crew. 그러자And 베드로는 예수님께서 자기에게 하신that Jesus said unto him “수탉이 두 번 울기 전에 네가 나를 세 번 부인하리라Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice”는 그 말씀을 기억했더라called to mind the word. 그리고And 그가 그것을 생각하며when he thought thereon 그he가 울었더라wept.
(눅 22:61-62) 그리고And 주께서 돌이켜 베드로를 바라보셨더라the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. 그러자And 베드로Peter는 그분께서 자기에게 하신how he had said unto him “수탉이 울기 전에 네가 나를 세 번 부인하리라Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice”는 주의 말씀the word of the Lord을 기억했더라remembered. / 62 그래서And 베드로Peter는 나가서went out, and 비통하게 울었더라wept bitterly.

(시 34:18) 주The LORD께서는 ~~~ 통회하는 영을 가진 그런 자들such as be of a contrite spirit을 구원하시는도다saveth.
(삼상 1:10) 그리고And 그녀she는 혼의 쓰라림가운데서was in bitterness of soul, and 주께unto the LORD 기도드렸고prayed, and 심히 울었더라wept sore.
(왕하 20:3) ‘오 주O LORD님이시여 제가 당신께 간청드리옵나이다. 제가 당신앞에서 진실되게 그리고 완전한 마음으로 걸어 왔음을 그리고 당신의 눈앞에서 선한 것을 행해 왔음how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight을 이제 기억해주소서remember now.’ 그러면서And 히스기야Hezekiah는 심히 울었더라wept sore.

(왕하 20:5) ~~~ “내I가 네 기도를 들었노라have heard thy prayer. 내I가 네 눈물을 보았노라have seen thy tears. 보라behold, 내I가 너를 낫게 하겠노라will heal thee ~~~”
(시 116:8) 이는For 당신thou께서 제 혼을 사망에서my soul from death, 제 눈을 눈물에서mine eyes from tears, 그리고and 제 발을 넘어짐에서my feet from falling 건지셨기 때문이니이다hast delivered.
(히 5:7-8) 그Who분께서는 자기의 육체를 가진 날들에 그때에in the days of his flesh, when 그he분은 자기를 사망으로부터 능히 구원하실 그분에게unto him that was able to save him from death 강렬한 부르짖음과 눈물로with strong crying and tears 기도들과 간구들을 드리셨느니라had offered up prayers and supplications ~~~ / 8 자기가 아들이었지만Though he were a Son 그럼에도 불구하고yet 그he분은 자기가 겪은 일들을 통해by the things which he suffered 순종을 체득하셨느니라learned obedience.

(눅 23:28) 그러나But 예수Jesus님께서 그들에게 돌이켜 말씀하셨더라turning unto them said, “예루살렘의 딸들Daughters of Jerusalem아, 나를 위해 울지 말고weep not for me, but 너희 자신들을 위해 그리고 너희 자녀들을 위해for yourselves, and for your children 울라weep.”
(마 11:17) ~~~ 우리가 너희를 위해 피리를 불었는데도We have piped unto you, and 너희가 춤추지 아니하였고ye have not danced; 우리가 너희를 향해 슬퍼하였는데도we have mourned unto you, and 너희가 애통해하지 아니하였다ye have not lamented ~~~.
(시 126:5-6) 눈물속에서 씨를 뿌리는 자들They that sow in tears은 기쁨속에서 거두리로다shall reap in joy. / 6 귀중한 씨를 가지고bearing precious seed 나아가서 우는 자He that goeth forth and weepeth는 틀림없이doubtless 자기와 함께 자기의 곡식 단들을 가지고bringing his sheaves with him 기뻐하며 돌아오리로다shall come again with rejoicing.
(계 7:17) 이는For 왕좌의 한가운데 계시는which is in the midst of the throne 그 어린양the Lamb께서 그들을 먹이실 것이고shall feed them, and 생수의 샘들로 그들을 인도하실 것이며shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and 하나님God께서 그들의 눈에서from their eyes 모든 눈물을 닦아 주실 것이기shall wipe away all tears 때문이라.
(계 21:4) 그리고And 하나님God께서 그들의 눈에서from their eyes 모든 눈물을 닦아 주시리라shall wipe away all tears. 그리고and 더 이상 사망이 없고 슬픔도 울부짖음도 없을 것이고 또한 더 이상 고통도 없으리라there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. 이는 이전 것들이 지나갔기 때문이라for the former things are passed away.
