기도(祈禱)는 명령이다.
(요 14:14) 너희가 내 이름으로 어떤 것을 구하면If ye shall ask any thing in my name, 내가 그것을 행하겠노라I will do it.
(마 6:8) ~~~ 너희의 아버지your Father께서는 너희가 그분께 구하기전에before ye ask him 너희에게 필요한 모든 것들what things ye have need of을 아시기knoweth 때문이라for.
(골 3:17) 그리고And 너희가 말이나 행동으로 무엇을 하건간에whatsoever ye do in word or deed, 모든 것all을 주 예수님의 이름으로in the name of the Lord Jesus, 그분을 근거삼아by him 하나님 곧 아버지께to God and the Father 감사들을 드리면서giving thanks 행하라do.
(엡 6:18) 성령님안에서in the Spirit 모든 기도와 간구로with all prayer and supplication 항상 구하라Praying always ~~~
(살전 5:17) 끊임없이without ceasing 기도하라Pray.

(대상 10:13-14) ¶ 이렇게So 사울Saul은 주를 대적해서 곧 그가 지키지 않은 주의 말씀을 대적해서against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not 그가 범한 자기의 범법으로 인해for his transgression which he committed 그리고and 또한also 부리는 영을 가진 자에게 그것을 묻기위해 조언을 구함으로 인해for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it 죽었더라died / 14 그리고And 주께 묻지 아니하였더라enquired not of the LORD: 그러므로therefore 그he분께서 그를 죽이고slew him, and 그 왕국을 이새의 아들 다윗에게 돌리셨더라turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
(왕하 1:16-17) 그리고And 그he가 그에게unto him 말했더라said, ‘주가 이같이 말하노라Thus saith the LORD, 네가 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 묻기위해 메신저들을 보냈기 때문이라Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, 그것은 이스라엘에 그분의 말씀을 물을 수 있는 하나님이 없기 때문아니냐is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? 그러므로therefore 너thou는 네가 올라가 있는 침상에서 내려오지 못하고 반드시 죽으리라shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. / 17 ¶ 그래서So 그he는 엘리야가 선포한 주의 말씀에 따라according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken 죽었더라died. 그리고And 그에게 아들이 없었으므로because he had no son 유다왕 여호사밧의 아들 여호람 제이년에in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah 그를 대신해in his stead 여호람Jehoram이 통치하였더라reigned
(마 6:5-8) ¶ 그리고And 너thou는 네가 기도할 때when thou prayest 위선자들같이 되지말지니라shalt not be as the hypocrites are: 저들they은 자기들이 사람들에게 보이도록that they may be seen of men 회당들안에 그리고 길모퉁이들에 서서standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets 기도하는걸 좋아하기love to pray때문이라for. 진실로Verily 내가 너희에게 말하노니I say unto you, 저들은 자기들의 보답을 가지고 있느니라They have their reward. / 6 그러나But 너thou는 네가 기도할 때when thou prayest 네 방에 들어가enter into thy closet, and 네가 네 문을 닫은 후when thou hast shut thy door, 은밀함 가운데 계시는 아버지께to thy Father which is in secret 기도하라pray 그러면and 은밀함 가운데서 보시는 네 아버지thy Father which seeth in secret께서 네게 드러나도록 보답하시리라shall reward thee openly. / 7 그러나But 너는 기도할 때when ye pray, 이교들과는 달리as the heathen do 헛된 반복들vain repetitions을 사용치 말라use not, 저들they은 자기들의 많은 말로 인해for their much speaking 자기들이 들릴거라that they shall be heard 생각하기think 때문이라for. / 8 그러므로therefore 너희ye는 그들과 같이 되지 말라Be not like unto them: 너희의 아버지your Father께서는 너희가 그분께 구하기전에before ye ask him 너희에게 필요한 모든 것들what things ye have need of을 아시기knoweth 때문이라for.
(딤전 2:8) 그러므로therefore 나I는 사람들이 각 처에서 진노와 의심없이 거룩한 손들을 들어 올려 기도하기that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting를 원하노라will.

(욘 1:17/2:1) ¶ 이제 주께서 요나를 완전히 삼키도록 전에 큰 물고기를 예비하셨더라Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. 그리하여 요나는 세 낮과 세 밤동안 그 물고기의 뱃속에 있었더라And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. / 2:1 Then[그 때/그 후] 요나Jonah는 주 자기의 하나님께unto the LORD his God [out of the fish’s belly그 물고기의 배(안에서/밖에서)] 기도했더라prayed.
(요 7:10-11) ¶ 그러나But 그분의 형제들이 올라 갔을 때when his brethren were gone up, then[그 때/그 후] 그he분도 역시also 그 명절을 위해unto the feast 올라 가셨더라went up ~~~ / 11 Then[그 때/그 후] 유대인들the Jews이 그 명절에at the feast 그분을 찾으며 말했더라sought him, and said, ‘그가 어디 있느냐Where is he?’
(시 121:2) 나의 도움은 하늘과 땅을 만드신 주께로부터 오는도다My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
(빌 4:19) 그러나But 내 하나님my God께서 그리스도 예수님을 통해by Christ Jesus 영광안에서 자기의 부요함에 따라according to his riches in glory 너희의 모든 필요를 공급하시리라shall supply all your need.
(마 7:7) ¶ 구하라Ask, 그러면and 그것이 너희에게 주어지리라it shall be given you. 찾으라seek, 그러면and 너희가 찾으리라ye shall find. 두드리라knock, 그러면and 그것이 너희에게 열리리라it shall be opened unto you.
(히 4:16) 그러므로therefore 우리가 긍휼을 얻기위해 그리고 필요한 때에 도와주시는 은혜를 찾기 위해that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need 은혜의 왕좌로unto the throne of grace 담대하게 가자Let us come boldly.
(히 10:22) 충만한 믿음의 확신 속에서in full assurance of faith 진실한 마음으로with a true heart 다가 가자Let us draw near. ~~~
(살전 5:17) 끊임없이without ceasing 기도하라Pray.
(딤후 2:3-4) 그러므로therefore 너Thou는 예수 그리스도의 좋은 병사로서as a good soldier of Jesus Christ 고난을 견디라endure hardness. / 4 전쟁을 하는 어떤 사람도 이 세상 삶의 일들에 얽매이지 아니하느니라No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life 이것은 그가 자기를 병사로 택하신 그분을 기쁘게 하려 함that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier이라.
(고전 10:31-33) 그러므로therefore 너희가 먹건 마시건 또는 너희가 무엇을 하건간에Whether ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, 하나님의 영광을 위하여to the glory of God 모든 것을 행하라do all. / 32 아무에게도 실족거리를 주지말라Give none offence, 유대인들에게도, 이방인들에게도, 하나님의 교회에게도 그리하라neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: / 33 내 자신의 유익이 아니라 다수의 유익을 구하면서 그들이 구원받도록not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved 내가 모든 일들에서 모든 사람들을 기쁘게 하는것과 똑같이 그리하라Even as I please all men in all things
(계 4:11) 오 주O Lord여, 당신께서는 영광과 존귀와 권능을 받기에 합당하시니이다Thou art worthy to receive glory and honour and power 이는for 당신께서 모든 것들을 창조하셨고thou hast created all things, and 그것들they이 당신의 기쁨을 위해for thy pleasure 존재하며 창조되었기 때문이니이다are and were created.
(요일 3:22) 그리고And 우리가 구하는 것은 무엇이든지 다whatsoever we ask 우리we가 그분에게서 받느니라receive of him 이는because 우리we가 그분의 명령들을 지키고keep his commandments, and 그분의 눈앞에서in his sight 기쁨드리는 그러한 일들을 행하기do those things that are pleasing 때문이라.
(시 69:30-31) 내I가 노래로with a song 하나님의 이름the name of God을 찬양하겠노라will praise 그리고and 감사드림으로with thanksgiving 그him분을 찬미하겠노라will magnify / 31 이것This이 또한also 뿔들과 굽들이 있는that hath horns and hoofs 소나 수소보다than an ox or bullock 주the LORD를 더 기쁘게 하리로다shall please better.
(히 13:15-16) 그러므로therefore 그분을 통해By him 하나님께to God 찬양의 희생물the sacrifice of praise 다시 말해that is 그분의 이름을 위해to his name 감사들을 드리는giving thanks 우리 입술들의 열매the fruit of our lips를 계속해서continually 드리자let us offer. / 16 오로지But 선을 행하는 것to do good 그리고and 나누는 것to communicate을 잊지 말라forget not. 하나님God께서는 그러한 희생물들을with such sacrifices 매우 기뻐하시기is well pleased 때문이라for.
