(딤전 6:10) 이는 돈에 대한 사랑이 모든 악의 뿌리이기 때문이니For the love of money is the root of all evil 어떤 자들이 그것을 탐내다가which while some coveted after 그들이 믿음으로부터 길을 잃었고they have erred from the faith, and 많은 슬픔들로 자기들 자신들을 꿰뚫어 찔렀도다pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

 

(딤전 6:17-18) 이 세상에서 부유한 자들에게 명하여Charge them that are rich in this world 그들이 높은 마음을 갖지 말고 또한 확실치 않은 재물이 아니라 우리에게 모든 것들을 풍성히 주셔서 누리게 하시는 살아 계신 하나님을 신뢰하게 하라that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. / 18 그들이 선을 행하고 그들이 선한 일들에 부요하고 나누어 주기를 준비하며 기꺼이 나누게 하라That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.

(약 4:4/8) 너희 간음남들과 간음녀들Ye adulterers and adulteresses아, ~~~ / 8 ~~~ 너희 죄인들ye sinners아, ~~~ 너희 두 마음을 가진 자들ye double minded아, ~~~

 

(약 4:4/8) 너희 간음남들과 간음녀들아, 세상에 대한 친교가 하나님께 원수됨을 너희가 알지 못하느냐Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God그러므로 누구든지 세상의 친구가 되고자 하는 자는 하나님의 원수이니라. / 8 하나님께 가까이 나아가라, 그리하면 그분께서 너희에게 가까이 오시리라Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. 너희 죄인들ye sinners아, 너희 손들을 정결하게 하라Cleanse your hands, 그리고and 너희 두 마음을 가진 자들ye double minded아, 너희 마음들을 순결하게 하라purify your hearts.

(사 54:5) 너의 제작자는 네 남편이니For thy Maker is thine husband 만군의 주가 그의 이름이니라the LORD of hosts is his name 그리고and 네 구속자는 이스라엘의 그 거룩한 자이시니thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel 그분은 온 땅의 하나님이라 불리시리라The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

(전 5:10) 은을 사랑하는 자는 은으로 만족하지 못하리라He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver 또한 풍요를 사랑하는 자도 소득의 증대nor he that loveth abundance with increase로 그러하리니 이것 역시 헛되도다this is also vanity.

(잠 27:20) 지옥과 멸망이 결코 가득 차지 아니하는 것 같이Hell and destruction are never full; so 사람의 눈들도 결코 만족하지 아니하느니라the eyes of man are never satisfied.

(히 13:5) 너희의 행실에 탐욕이 없게 하라Let your conversation be without covetousness 그리고and 너희가 가진 그러한 것들로 만족하라be content with such things as ye have. 이는for 그he분께서 “내가 결코 너를 떠나지 아니하리라I will never leave thee 또한 너를 버리지도 아니하리라nor forsake thee.” 말씀하셨기hath said 때문이라.

 

(딤전 6:6/8-9) ~~~ 만족과 함께 하나님을 따르는 것은 큰 이득이니라godliness with contentment is great gain. / 8 ~~~ 먹을 것과 입을 것이 있은즉having food and raiment 그것들로 만족하자let us be therewith content. / 9 ~~~ 부유하게 되고자 하는 자들they that will be rich은 사람들을 파멸과 멸망에 빠뜨리는which drown men in destruction and perdition 시험과 올무안에into temptation and a snare 그리고and 여러 가지 어리석고 해로운 욕망들안에into many foolish and hurtful lusts 떨어지느니라fall.

 

(골 3:5) ~~~ 우상 숭배인 탐심covetousness, which is idolatry을 죽이라Mortify.

 

(마 6:24) ¶ ~~~ 너희는 하나님과 맘몬을 동시에 섬길 수 없느니라Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

 

(마 6:31-32) 그러므로Therefore 우리가 무엇을 먹어야되지? 또는 우리가 무엇을 마셔야되지? 또는 우리가 무엇을 입어야 되지?라고 말하며saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 그 어떤 생각도 취하지 말라take no thought / 32 (이는 이 모든 것들을 이방인들이 추구하기 때문이라For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) 너희 하늘 아버지께서는 너희에게 이 모든 것들이 필요하다는 것을 알고 계시기 때문이라for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

 

(딤전 6:10) 돈에 대한 사랑이 모든 악의 뿌리이니For the love of money is the root of all evil ~~~

 

(약 1:8) 두 마음을 가진 사람은 자기의 모든 길들에서 불안정하느니라A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

(요일 2:15) 세상을 또한 세상안에 있는 것들을 사랑하지 말라Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. 어떤 사람이 세상을 사랑하면If any man love the world 아버지에 대한 사랑이 그자안에 있지 아니하니라the love of the Father is not in him.
