(요 3:6) 플레시에게서 태어나는 것은 플레시요That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and 영에게서 태어나는 것은 영이니라that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

(갈 5:17) 이는For 육신이 성령을 대적하여 그리고 성령은 육신을 대적하여 강렬하게 열망하기the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh 때문이라 그리고and 이것들은 서로 정반대라these are contrary the one to the other: 그리하여so that 너희는 너희가 원하는 것들을 행할 수 없느니라ye cannot do the things that ye would.

 

★ 육신의 생각carnal mind →

 

(롬 8:7-8) 육신의 생각은 하나님을 대적하는 원수이기 때문에Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: 그것은 하나님의 법에 복종하지 않고 또한 참으로 그리할 수도 없기 때문이라for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. / 8 그런즉 이와같이 육신안에 있는 자들은 하나님을 기쁘게 해 드릴 수가 없느니라So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

 

(롬 8:6) 이는 육신의 생각을 갖는 것은 사망이지만 영의 생각을 갖는 것은 생명과 평안이기 때문이라For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

(갈 5:16) 그런즉then 내가 이것을 말하노니This I say 성령 안에서 걸으라Walk in the Spirit 그리하면and 너희가 육신의 욕망을 이루지 아니하리라ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

(갈 5:19-21) 이제 육신의 일들은 명백하도다Now the works of the flesh are manifest, 그것들은 이런 것들이니which are these; 간음, 음행, 부정함, 색욕Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, / 20 우상 숭배, 마술, 증오, 분쟁, 경쟁심들, 진노, 다툼, 선동들, 이단들Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, / 21 질투들, 살인들, 취함, 흥청거림들, 그리고 그와 같은 것들이라Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: 내가 또한 전에 너희에게 말한 것 같이 이것들에 대하여 내가 미리 너희에게 말하노니of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, 이러한 것들을 행하는 자들은 하나님의 왕국을 상속하지 못하리라that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

(요일 2:15) 세상을 또한 세상안에 있는 것들을 사랑하지 말라Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. ~~~

 

(요일 2:16) 이는For 세상안에 있는 모든 것 곧 ① 육신의 욕망과 ② 눈들의 욕망 그리고 ③ 인생의 자랑all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life은 아버지에게 아니라 세상에게 속하기is not of the Father, but is of the world때문이라.

(약 1:14-15) 그러나But 각 사람이 다 유혹에 빠지느니라every man is tempted, 그가 자기 자신의 욕망에 이끌려 미혹될 때 그러하니라when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. / 15 그런즉Then 욕망이 마음에 품어지면when lust hath conceived 그것이 죄를 내어 놓고it bringeth forth sin: and 죄는 그것이 완료되면 사망을 내어 놓느니라sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

 

(잠 16:18) 교만은 멸망에 앞서서 거만한 영은 넘어짐에 앞서서 가느니라Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

(롬 8:5) 육신을 따르는 자들they that are after the flesh은 육신의 일들the things of the flesh을 하지만but 성령을 따르는 자들they that are after the Spirit은 성령의 일들the things of the Spirit을 참으로 생각하나니do mind

 

(골 3:2) 땅에 있는 것들에게가 아니라 위에 있는 것들에 너희의 애착을 두라Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

 

(빌 4:8) 끝으로Finally 형제들아brethren, 무엇이든지 진실한 것들whatsoever things are true, 무엇이든지 정직한 것들whatsoever things are honest, 무엇이든지 의로운 것들whatsoever things are just, 무엇이든지 순수한 것들whatsoever things are pure, 무엇이든지 사랑스러운 것들whatsoever things are lovely, 무엇이든지 좋은 평판이 있는 것들whatsoever things are of good report 그리고 덕이 있는 것과그리고 칭찬이 있는 것if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise 곧 이런 것들을 계속해서 생각하라think on these things.

 

(히 3:1) 그러므로Wherefore 거룩한 형제들아, 하늘의 부르심에 참여한 자들아holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, 우리의 신앙 고백의 사도시며 대제사장이신 그리스도 예수님을 깊이 생각하라consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus

 

(고후 10:5) 상상들과 하나님의 지식을 대적하여 스스로를 높이는 각각의 모든 높은 것을 무너뜨리라Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God 그리고and 각각의 모든 생각을 사로잡아 그리스도에 대한 순종안으로 가져오라bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

 

(잠 4:23) ¶ 열심을 다하여 네 마음을 지키라Keep thy heart with all diligence 이는 생명의 유출물들이 그것에서 나오기 때문이라for out of it are the issues of life.
