엘더elder?

(엡 4:14-15) 이제부터는henceforth 우리가 더 이상 각종 교리의 바람으로 이리저리 옮겨지고carried about with every wind of doctrine, 이리저리 던져지는tossed to and fro 아이들children이 되지 않고 ~~~ / 15 오히려But 사랑 안에서 진리를 말하며speaking the truth in love 모든 것들에서in all things 머리 곧 그리스도which is the head, even Christ이신 그분안으로 자라도록may grow up into him 하기 위함이라.

 

(히 11:1-2) 이제Now 믿음faith은 소망하는 것들의 본체the substance of things hoped for요, 보이지 않는 것들의 증거the evidence of things not seen니라. / 2 이는For 그것을 통해by it 조상들the elders이 좋은 평판을 얻었기obtained a good report 때문이라.

(창 10:21) ¶ 에벨의 모든 자손들의 아버지father이고 그 형the elder 야벳Japheth의 형제brother인 셈에게도Unto Shem also 곧 그에게도even to him 자손들이 태어났더라were children born.

 

(롬 9:12) ~~~~ ‘형이 동생을 섬기리라The elder shall serve the younger.’

 

(창 29:16) 그리고 라반에게 두 딸이 있었는데Laban had two daughters, 언니의 이름the name of the elder은 레아Leah요, 동생의 이름은 라헬이었더라the name of the younger was Rachel.

(마 15:1-2) 그때에Then 예루살렘에 속한 서기관들과 바리새인들scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem이 예수님께 와서came to Jesus 말하기를saying, / 2 '당신의 제자들thy disciples은 어찌하여 조상들의 전통the tradition of the elders을 범하나이까transgress? 이는for 그들이 빵을 먹을 때에when they eat bread 그들이 자기들의 손을 씻지 아니하기they wash not their hands 때문이니이다.'

 

(행 4:7-8) 그리고And 그들이 저들을 한가운데 세우고when they had set them in the midst 그들이 물었더라they asked, ‘너희가 무슨 권능이나 누구의 이름으로 이 일을 행하였느냐?’ / 8 그때에Then 성령님으로 충만해진 베드로Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost가 그들에게 말했더라said unto them, ‘백성의 치리자들이면서 이스라엘의 원로들인 당신들Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel이여,

 

(민 11:16) ¶ 그리고And 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨더라the LORD said unto Moses, "이스라엘의 원로들 중에서of the elders of Israel 네가 백성의 원로들 곧 그들을 관리하는 관원들the elders of the people, and officers over them로 알고 있는 자들 칠십 명을 내게로 모으라Gather unto me, 그리고 회중의 장막으로unto the tabernacle of the congregation 그들을 데려와bring them 그들이 거기에 너와 함께 서게 하라that they may stand there with thee.

 

(창 50:7) ¶ 그리고And 요셉Joseph이 자기 아버지를 묻으러 올라갔는데went up to bury his father: 파라오의 모든 신하들all the servants of Pharaoh, 그의 집의 원로들the elders of his house, 그리고 이집트 땅의 모든 원로들all the elders of the land of Egypt이 그와 함께 올라갔더라with him went up.

(행 20:17/28) ¶ 그리고 그가 밀레도Miletus에서 에베소Ephesus로 사람을 보내어 그 교회의 장로들the elders of the church을 불렀더라. / 28 ¶ 그러므로therefore 너희 자신과 모든 양 떼에게unto yourselves, and to all the flock 주의를 기울이라Take heed, 성령the Holy Ghost님께서 너희를 그것들을 관리하는over the which 감독자들overseers로 삼아hath made 그분께서 당신 자신의 피로 사신which he hath purchased with his own blood 하나님의 교회를 먹이게to feed the church of God 하셨느니라.

 

(빌 1:1-2) 예수 그리스도의 종들인 바울과 디모데Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ가 감독들과 집사들을 포함한with the bishops and deacons 빌립보에 있는which are at Philippi 그리스도 예수님 안에 모든 성도들에게to all the saints in Christ Jesus: / 2 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를Grace be unto you, and peace

(딛 1:5-7/9) 이런 까닭으로For this cause 내가 너를 크레테에 남겨 두었노라left I thee in Crete. 그것은 네가 부족한 것들을 바로잡도록that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting 그리고 내가 너를 임명했던 것같이as I had appointed thee 각각의 모든 도시에서 장로들을 임명하게ordain elders in every city 하려 함이었느니라. / 6 만일 어떤 사람이 한 아내의 남편the husband of one wife으로 책망받을 것이 없고blameless 방탕하거나 제멋대로라는 비난을 받지 아니하는 신실한 자녀들을 가졌으면having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly 그렇게하라. / 7 이는For 감독a bishop은 반드시 하나님의 청지기로서as the steward of God 책망받을 것이 없어야 하기 때문이라. ~~~ / 9 자기가 가르침을 받은 대로as he hath been taught 신실한 말씀을 굳게 붙들어야Holding fast the faithful word 하리니, 이것은 그가 반박하는 자들gainsayers을 건전한 교리로by sound doctrine 능히 권면하고exhort 납득시키게convince 하려 함이라.

 

(딤전 3:2) 그러므로then 감독bishop은 반드시must 한 아내의 남편the husband of one wife으로 비난받을 것이 없으며, ~~~ 가르치는 재능이 있어야하느니라apt to teach.

 

(엡 4:11-12) 그리고And 그분께서 몇몇some은 사도들apostles로, 몇몇은 선지자들prophets로, 몇몇은 복음 전도자들evangelists로, 그리고 몇몇은 목자들겸 교사들pastors and teachers로 주셨느니라. / 12 성도들을 완전하게하고For the perfecting of the saints 섬김의 일을 하게하며for the work of the ministry, 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하려for the edifying of the body of Christ 하심이라.

(벧전 5:1-5) 너희 중에 있는 장로들에게The elders which are among you, 역시 장로이면서 그리스도의 고난들의 증인이고 드러날 영광의 참여자이기도한who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed 내가 권면하노라I exhort. / 2 너희 중에 있는 하나님의 양 떼를 먹이라Feed the flock of God which is among you, 그리고 그것을 감독하라taking the oversight thereof. 억지로가 아니라 자발적으로 그리고 더러운 이익을 위해서가 아니라 준비된 마음으로not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind, / 3 또한 하나님의 유산 위에 주인들인 것처럼이 아니라 양떼에게 본보기들이 되도록Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock 그렇게 하라. / 4 그리하면And 목자장께서 나타나실 때에when the chief Shepherd shall appear 너희가 사라져 없어지지 않는 영광의 관을 받으리라ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. / 5 마찬가지로Likewise, 너희 젊은이들ye younger아, 장로에게unto the elder 너희 자신들을 복종하라submit yourselves. 참으로Yea, 너희 모두all of you, 서로에게 복종하라be subject one to another 그리고 겸손으로 옷 입으라and be clothed with humility. 이는 하나님께서 교만한 자들은 물리치시고 겸손한 자들에게는 은혜를 주시기 때문이라for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

(창 25:1) Then 아브라함이 다시 아내를 취하였으니 그녀의 이름은 그두라였더라again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
