(출 20:13) 너는 살인하지 말라(Thou shalt not kill).

 

(신 19:10-12) {주} 네 [하나님]께서 네게 상속 재산으로 주시는 네 땅에서 무죄한 피가 흘려지지 아니하게 하고(That innocent blood be not shed in thy land) 이로써 그 피가 네게 돌아가지 아니하게 할지니라. / 11 ¶ 그러나 어떤 사람이 자기 이웃을 미워하여 숨어서 그를 기다리다가 그를 치려고 일어나 죽도록 그를 쳐서 죽게 하고 이 도시들 중 하나로 도피하거든(But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities) / 12 그의 도시의 장로들이 사람을 보내어 그를 거기서 데려다가 피의 원수를 갚는 자의 손에 넘겨주어 그를 죽이게(that he may die) 할 것이니라.

 

(출 21:12/14-16) ¶ 사람을 쳐서 죽게 한 자는 반드시 죽일지니라(He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death). / 14 그러나 사람이 고의로 자기 이웃에게 와서 교활하게 그를 죽이면 너는 그를 내 제단에서라도 끌어내어 죽일지니라(But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die). / 15 ¶ 자기 아버지나 어머니를 치는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라(he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death). / 16 ¶ 사람을 훔쳐서 팔거나 자기 손에 둔 자는 반드시 죽일지니라(he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death). / 17 ¶ 자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라(he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death).

 

(레 20:10) ¶ 다른 남자의 아내와 간음하는 남자(the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife) 곧 자기 이웃의 아내와 간음하는 자(even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife)가 있을 경우 그 간음한 자와 간음한 여자를 반드시 죽일지니라(he adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death).

 

(레 20:16) 여자가 어떤 짐승에게 다가가서 그것을 향해 눕거든(if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto) 너는 그 여자와 그 짐승을 죽이되(thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast) 그들을 반드시 죽일지니(they shall surely be put to death) 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라.

 

(레 20:13) 또 남자가 여자와 함께 눕듯이 남자와 함께 누우면(If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman) 둘 다 가증한 짓을 행하였은즉(both of them have committed an abomination) 반드시 그들을 죽일지니(they shall surely be put to death) 그들의 피가 그들에게 돌아가리라.

 

(신 19:5-6) 가령 사람이 자기 이웃과 함께 나무를 베러 숲에 들어가 손에 도끼를 들고 나무를 베려고 찍을 때에 도끼머리가 자루에서 빠져나와 그의 이웃을 맞추어 그를 죽게 하는 경우 같은 것이라(As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die). 그는 그 도시들 중 하나로 도피하여 살 것이니라(he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live). / 6 그 사람이 과거에 그를 미워한 적이 없으므로(inasmuch as he hated him not in time past) 죽이기에 합당하지 아니하지만 피를 복수하려는 자의 마음이 뜨거워서 그가 사람을 죽인 자를 뒤따르는데 그 길이 멀므로 그를 따라잡아 죽일까 염려하노라(Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past).

 

(삼상 15:2-3) 만군의 {주}가 이같이 말하노라(Thus saith the LORD of hosts). 아말렉이 이스라엘에게 행한 일(that which Amalek did to Israel) 곧 이스라엘이 이집트에서 나올 때에 그가 길에서 숨어 그를 기다린 일을 내가 기억하나니 / 3 지금 가서 아말렉을 쳐서 그들이 가진 모든 것을 진멸하고 남기지 말며(Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not) 남자와 여자와 어린 아기와 젖먹이와 소와 양과 낙타와 나귀를 죽이라(but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass), 하매

 

(눅 22:34-36) 그분께서 이르시되, 베드로야(Peter), 내가 네게 말하노니, 이 날 수탉이 울기 전에 네가 나를 안다는 것을 세 번 부인하리라(the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me), 하시고 / 35 또 그들에게 이르시되, 내가 너희를 돈주머니와 짐 보따리와 신도 없이 보냈을 때에 너희에게 무슨 부족한 것이 있었느냐(When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing)? 하시니 그들이 이르되, 없었나이다, 하매 / 36 그때에 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 그러나 이제 돈주머니가 있는 자는 그것을 취할 것이요, 짐 보따리도 그리하고 칼이 없는 자는 자기 옷을 팔아 하나를 살지어다(But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip： and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one).

(창 22:6) 아브라함이 번제 헌물에 쓸 나무를 취하여 자기 아들 이삭에게 지게 하고(Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son) 자기는 불과 칼을 손에 들고(he took the fire in his hand, and a knife) 그들 두 사람이 함께 가더라.

 

(행 16:27) 감옥의 간수가 잠에서 깨어 감옥 문들이 열린 것을 보고 죄수들이 도망한 줄로 생각하여 칼을 빼서(drew out his sword) 자결하려 하거늘

 

(계 6:4) 다른 붉은 말이 나오더라. 그 위에 탄 자가 땅에서 화평을 제거하는 권능을 받았으니(power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth) 이것은 그들이 서로 죽이게 하려 함(that they should kill one another)이라. 또 그가 큰 칼을 받았더라(there was given unto him a great sword).

(마 5:21-22) ¶ 옛 사람들이 말한바(it was said of them of old time), 너는 살인하지 말라(Thou shalt not kill). 누구든지 살인하는 자는 심판의 위험에 처하게 되리라(whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment), 한 것을 너희가 들었으나 / 22 나는 너희에게 이르노니(But I say unto you), 누구든지 까닭 없이 자기 형제에게 화를 내는 자는 심판의 위험에 처하게 되고(whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment) 누구든지 자기 형제에게, 라가(Raca), 하고 말하는 자는 공회의 위험에 처하게 되거니와 누구든지, 너 어리석은 자여(Thou fool), 하고 말하는 자는 지옥 불의 위험에 처하게 되리라.

(눅 5:3) 그분께서 그 배들 중 하나에 오르셨는데 그것은 시몬의 배더라(he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's,). 그분께서 그가 뭍에서 조금 나갈 것을 그에게 청하시고(prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land) 앉으사 배에서 사람들을 가르치시더니(And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.)

 

(요일 3:15) 누구든지 자기 형제를 미워하는 자는 살인하는 자(Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer)니 살인하는 자 속에는 영원한 생명이 거하지 아니하는 줄 너희가 아느니라.(and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him)

 

(요 13:34) 내가 새 명령(A new commandment)을 너희에게 주노니 너희는 서로 사랑하라(ye love one another). 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이(as I have loved you) 너희도 서로 사랑하라.

 

(출 20:14) 너는 간음하지 말라(Thou shalt not commit adultery).

 

(눅 18:11) 바리새인(The Pharisee)은 서서 자기 홀로 이렇게 기도하여 이르되, [하나님]이여, 내가 다른 사람들 곧 착취하는 자들과 불의한 자들과 간음하는 자들과 같지 아니하고 더욱이 이 세리와도 같지 아니함을 감사하나이다(God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican).

 

(눅 18:20-21) 네가, 간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 거짓 증언하지 말라, 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라(Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother), 하는 명령들을 아느니라, 하시니 / 21 그가 이르되, 이 모든 것은 내가 어려서부터 지켰나이다(All these have I kept from my youth up), 하거늘

 

(마 5:27-28) ¶ 옛 사람들이 말한바(it was said by them of old time), 너는 간음하지 말라(Thou shalt not commit adultery), 한 것을 너희가 들었으나 / 28 나는 너희에게 이르노니(But I say unto you), 누구든지 여자를 보고 그녀에게 음욕을 품는 자는 이미 마음속으로 그녀와 간음하였느니라(whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart).

 

(레 19:2) 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 말하고 그들에게 이르라. 나 {주} 너희 [하나님]이 거룩하니 너희는 거룩할지니라(Ye shall be holy： for I the LORD your God am holy).

 

(벧전 1:16) 기록된바(Because it is written), 내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩하라(Be ye holy; for I am holy), 하셨느니라.

 

(약 4:4) 너희 간음하는 남자들과 간음하는 여자들아(Ye adulterers and adulteresses), 세상과 친구가 되는 것이 [하나님]과 원수 되는 것(the friendship of the world is enmity with God)인 줄 너희가 알지 못하느냐? 그러므로(therefore) 누구든지 세상의 친구가 되고자 하는 자는 [하나님]의 원수가 되느니라(whosoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God).

 

(살전 4:3) [하나님]의 뜻(the will of God)은 이것이니 곧 너희가 거룩히 구별되는 것(your sanctification)이라. 너희는 음행을 삼가고(that ye should abstain from fornication)

 

(히 13:4) 결혼은 모든 것 가운데 존귀한 것이요 잠자리는 더럽히지 말아야 하거니와(Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled) 음행을 일삼는 자들과 간음하는 자들은 [하나님]께서 심판하시리라(but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge).

 

(엡 5:5) 너희가 이것을 알거니와 음행을 일삼는 자(whoremonger)나 부정한 자(unclean person)나 탐욕을 부리는 자(covetous man) 곧 우상 숭배자는 결코 그리스도와 [하나님]의 왕국에서 아무 상속 유업(any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God)도 받지 못하느니라.

 

(고전 6:9-10) 불의한 자가 [하나님]의 왕국을 상속받지 못할 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐(Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God)? 속지 말라(Be not deceived). 음행하는 자(fornicators)나 우상 숭배자(idolaters)나 간음하는 자(adulterers)나 여성화된 남자(effeminate)나 남자와 더불어 자신을 욕되게 하는 남자(abusers of themselves with mankind)나 / 10 도둑질하는 자(thieves)나 탐욕을 부리는 자(covetous)나 술 취하는 자(drunkards)나 욕하는 자(revilers)나 착취하는 자들(extortioners)은 [하나님]의 왕국을 상속받지 못하리라.

 

(골 3:5) 그러므로 땅에 있는 너희 지체들을 죽이라(Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth). 그것들은 음행과 부정함과 무절제한 애정과 악한 욕정과 탐욕이니 탐욕은 우상 숭배니라(fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry).

 

(갈 3:24-25) 그런즉 율법은 우리를 그리스도께로 인도하는 훈육 선생이었으니(the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ) 이것은 우리가 믿음으로 의롭게 되게(that we might be justified by faith) 하려 함이라. / 25 그러나 믿음이 온 뒤에는(But after that faith is come) 우리가 더 이상 훈육 선생 아래 있지 아니하도다(we are no longer under a schoolmaster).
