(창 24:18) 그녀가 이르되, 내 주여, 마시소서, 하며 급히 물 항아리를 자기 손에 내려 그에게 마시게 하고 And she said, Drink, my lord： and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.
(창 47:18) 그 해가 끝나고 다음 해에 그들이 그에게 와서 그에게 이르되, 우리가 내 주께 숨기지 아니하리이다. 우리의 돈이 소진되었고 내 주께서 우리의 가축 떼도 취하셨사오니 내 주의 눈앞에 남은 것이 하나도 없고 우리의 몸과 땅뿐이니이다. When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands：
(창 18:12) 그러므로 사라가 속으로 웃으며 이르되, 내가 늙었고 내 주도 늙었은즉 내게 즐거움이 있으리오? 하매 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
(창 33:8) 에서가 이르되, 내가 만난 이 모든 떼는 무엇을 뜻하느냐? 하거늘 그가 이르되, 이것들은 내 주의 눈앞에서 은혜를 입기 위한 것이니이다, 하매 And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
(창 31:35) 그녀가 자기 아버지에게 이르되, 내게 여인들의 관례가 임하여 내가 내 주 앞에서 일어설 수 없사오니 내 주는 불쾌히 여기지 마소서, 하니라. 그가 뒤졌으나 형상들을 찾지 못하니라. And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.
(창 23:6) 내 주여, 우리 말을 들으소서. 당신은 우리 가운데 강력한 통치자시니 우리의 돌무덤 중에서 좋은 것에 당신의 죽은 자를 묻으소서. 우리 중의 아무도 자기의 돌무덤을 당신에게 주지 아니하여 당신이 당신의 죽은 자를 묻지 못하게 하지 아니하리이다, 하매 Hear us, my lord： thou art a mighty prince among us： in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.
(마 28:1)『안식일이 끝나고 주의 첫날이 밝아오기 시작할 때에 막달라 마리아와 다른 마리아가 돌무덤을 보러 갔는데』In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

(사 13:9) 보라, {주}의 날 곧 진노와 맹렬한 분노로 인한 잔혹한 날이 이르러 그 땅을 황폐하게 하며 그분께서 그 땅의 죄인들을 그곳에서 끄집어내어 멸하시리니 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate： and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
(욜 1:15) 슬프다 그 날이여! {주}의 날이 가까우며 그 날이 [전능자]에게서 나온 멸망같이 이르리로다. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
(욜 2:11) {주}께서 자신의 군대 앞에서 친히 목소리를 내시리로다. 그분의 진영은 심히 크며 자신의 말씀을 집행하시는 이는 강하시도다. {주}의 날이 크고 심히 두려우니 누가 그 날을 견디리요? And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army： for his camp is very great： for he is strong that executeth his word： for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
(말 4:5) ¶ 보라, 크고 두려운 {주}의 날이 이르기 전에 내가 대언자 엘리야를 너희에게 보내리니 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD：
(욜 2:31) 크고 두려운 {주}의 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어둠이 되고 달이 변하여 피가 되려니와 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
(습 1:18) {주}의 진노의 날에는 그들의 은이나 그들의 금이 그들을 건지지 못하며 그 온 땅이 그의 질투의 불에 삼켜지리니 그가 그 땅에 거하는 모든 자를 매우 신속히 제거하리라. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy： for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
(행 2:20) 저 크고 주목할 만한 [주]의 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어둠이 되고 달이 변하여 피가 되려니와 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come：
(눅 24:1) 이제 주의 첫날 매우 이른 아침에 그들이 자기들이 이미 예비해 둔 향품을 가지고 다른 어떤 자들과 함께 돌무덤에 가서 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
(행 20:7) 주(週)의 첫날에 제자들이 빵을 떼려고 함께 오니 바울이 이튿날 떠나려고 준비한 채 그들에게 말씀을 선포하며 계속해서 한밤중까지 말을 하니라. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
(고전 16:2) 주(週)의 첫날에 너희 각 사람이 [하나님]께서 자기를 형통하게 하신 대로 자기 곁에 모아 두어 내가 갈 때에 모으는 일이 없게 하라. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
(호 2:11) 내가 또한 그녀의 모든 희락과 명절날과 월삭과 안식일과 모든 엄숙한 명절이 그치게 하며 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
(신 5:15) 기억하라. 네가 이집트 땅에서 종이었을 때에 {주} 네 [하나님]이 강한 손과 뻗은 팔로 너를 거기서 데리고 나왔나니 ***그러므로*** {주} 네 [하나님]이 네게 명령하여 안식일을 지키게 하였느니라. And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm： therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
(느 9:14) 또 주의 거룩한 안식일을 그들에게 알려 주시며 주의 종 모세의 손으로 훈계와 법규와 법들을 그들에게 명령하시고 And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant：
(출 16:29)『보라, {주}가 너희에게 안식일을 주었으므로 여섯째 날에는 이틀 분의 빵을 너희에게 주노니 일곱째 날에는 너희 각 사람이 자기 처소에 머물며 아무도 자기 처소에서 나오지 말지니라, 하시니라.』See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
(출 31:16)『그러므로 이스라엘 자손이 안식일을 지키되 그들의 대대로 안식일을 준수하여 영속하는 언약으로 삼을 것이니라.』Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
(출 31:17)『안식일은 나와 이스라엘 자손들 사이에 있을 영원한 표적이니 이는 {주}가 엿새 동안에 하늘과 땅을 만들고 일곱째 날에 안식하며 상쾌하게 되었기 때문이니라, 하라.』It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever： for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
(출 16:26)『엿새 동안은 너희가 그것을 거두되 일곱째 날은 안식일인즉 그 날에는 아무것도 없으리라, 하니라.』Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
(출 20:10)『일곱째 날은 {주} 네 [하나님]의 안식일인즉 그 날에는 너나 네 아들이나 네 딸이나 네 남종이나 네 여종이나 네 가축이나 네 문 안에 거하는 네 나그네나 아무 일도 하지 말라.』But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God： in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates：
(출 31:15)『엿새 동안은 일할 것이나 일곱째 날은 안식하는 안식일이니 {주}께 거룩하니라. 누구든지 안식일에 일하는 자는 반드시 죽일지니라.』Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD： whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
(히 10:25) 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 우리의 함께 모이는 일을 폐하지 말고 서로 권면하되 그 날이 다가옴을 너희가 볼수록 더욱 그리하자. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another： and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
