(고전 2:14) 그러나But 본성에 속한 사람the natural man은 영 하나님의 것들을 받아들이지 못하나니receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God 이는 그것들이 그에게는 어리석은 것이기 때문이라for they are foolishness unto him. 또한 그가 그것들을 알 수도 없나니neither can he know them 이는 그것들이 영적으로 분별되기 때문이라because they are spiritually discerned.

① 알아서 깨달음. 또는 그 능력.
② 사물의 이치나 도리를 분별하는 능력.
(고전 14:20) 형제자매들Brethren아 지각(知覺)에는in understanding 아이가 되지말라be not children. 비록 너희가 악한 일에는 아이일지라도howbeit in malice be ye children 지각(知覺)에는in understanding 어른이 되라be men.
(벧후 3:17-18) 그러므로therefore 너희Ye 사랑하는 자들beloved아 ~~~ 너희 또한 사악한 자들의 오류에 이끌려being led away with the error of the wicked 너희 자신의 굳건함에서 떨어지지fall from your own stedfastness 않도록 주의하라beware. / 18 오직But 은혜 안에서in grace 그리고 우리의 주 곧 구원자 예수 그리스도에 관한 지식에서in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 자라라grow. ~~~
(엡 4:14) 이것은 이제부터는henceforth 우리we가 더 이상 사람들의 속임수the sleight of men와 속이기위해 대기하고 있는 자들의 간교한 술수cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive에 의해 이리저리 던져지고tossed to and fro 온갖 교리의 바람으로 이리 저리 옮겨지는carried about with every wind of doctrine 아이children가 되지 아니하고
(골 1:9-10) 이런 까닭에For this cause 우리도we also 그것을 들은 날부터since the day we heard it 너희를 위해 기도하는 것to pray for you 그리고 너희가 모든 지혜와 영적인 지각에서 그분의 뜻에 속한 지식으로 채워지기를 그치지 아니하고not cease 바라나니to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding / 10 이것은 너희가 하나님에 대한 지식을 늘리고increasing in the knowledge of God 각각의 모든 선한 일에 열매를 맺으며being fruitful in every good work 전적으로 기쁨을 드리면서unto all pleasing 주께 합당하게 걷도록 하기might walk worthy of the Lord 위함이라.
(히 5:12-14) 이는For 시간으로 보면for the time 너희가 마땅히 가르치는 자들이어야 할 때인데when ye ought to be teachers 너희는 누군가가 너희에게 하나님의 말씀들의 첫 원리들을 다시 가르쳐야 할 필요가 있으며ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God 또 단단한 음식이 아니라 젖을 필요로 하는 그런 자들이 되었기are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat 때문이라. / 13 이는For 젖을 사용하는 자마다 의의 말씀에 능숙하지 못하기every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness 때문이라. 이는 그가 갓난아이이기 때문이라for he is a babe. / 14 그러나But 단단한 음식strong meat은 장성한 자들them that are of full age 곧even 사용하여 자기들의 감각들을 단련받아 선과 악을 분별하는 자들those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil에게 속하느니라belongeth.
(고전 3:1-3) 그리고And 형제자매들brethren아, 내I가 영에 속한 자에게 하듯이as unto spiritual가 아니라 육신에 속한 자 곧 그리스도 안에 있는 갓난아이들에게 하는 것처럼as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ 말하였노라. / 2 내가 너희를 음식으로가 아니라 젖으로 먹여왔노라I have fed you with milk, and not with meat. 이는 지금까지 너희가 그것을 능히 감당하지 못하였고 또한 지금도 여전히 능히 할 수 없기 때문이라for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. / 3 이는 너희가 아직도 육신적이기 때문이라For ye are yet carnal. 이는 너희 중에 시기와 다툼과 분열이 있음으로 너희가 육신적이어서 사람들처럼 걷는 것이 아니냐for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
(약 3:16) 이는For 시기와 다툼이 있는 곳에는where envying and strife is 혼란과 각각의 모든 악한 일이 있기 때문이라there is confusion and every evil work.
(고전 13:11) 내가 아이였을 때When I was a child 나는 아이처럼 말했노라I spake as a child. 나는 아이처럼 이해했노라I understood as a child. 나는 아이처럼 생각했노라I thought as a child 하지만but 내가 어른이 되었을 때when I became a man 나는 아이같은 일들을 치웠노라I put away childish things.
