(갈 1:4) 그Who분은 우리의 죄들로 인하여for our sins 자기 자신을 주셨도다gave himself 이것은 그분이 하나님 곧 우리 아버지의 뜻에 따라 이 악한 현 세상에서 우리를 건지시기 위함이라that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father
(롬 5:12) 그러므로Wherefore 한 사람에 의해by one man 죄sin가 세상에into the world 그리고and 죄에 의해by sin 죽음death이 들어왔듯이entered 그렇게and so 죽음이 모든 사람들에게 전해졌느니라death passed upon all men 이는 모두가 죄를 지었기 때문이라for that all have sinned.
(창 1:1-2) 처음에In the beginning 하나님God께서 하늘과 땅the heaven and the earth을 창조하셨더라created. / 2 그런데And 그 땅이 형태가 없고 비어 있었더라the earth was without form, and void; 그리고and 어둠이 깊음의 표면에 있었더라darkness was upon the face of the deep. 그리고And 영 하나님the Spirit of God께서 물들의 표면에서 움직이셨더라moved upon the face of the waters.

(사 14:12-14) 오O 아침의 아들son of the morning 루시퍼Lucifer야 네가 어떻게 하늘로부터 떨어졌느냐How art thou fallen from heaven! 민족들을 참으로 약화시킨which didst weaken the nations 네가 어떻게 끊어져 땅에 내려왔느냐how art thou cut down to the ground! / 13 이는For 네가 네 마음으로 말했기thou hast said in thine heart 때문이라, ‘내가 하늘로 오르겠노라I will ascend into heaven, 내가 내 왕좌를 하나님의 별들위로 높이겠노라I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: 내가 또한 북쪽의 옆면들에, 회중의 산에 앉겠노라I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: / 14 내가 구름들의 높은 곳들 위로 오르겠노라I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; 내가 가장 높으신 이와 같게 되겠노라I will be like the most High.’
(겔 28:14-15) 너Thou는 기름부음받은 덮는 그룹the anointed cherub that covereth이라art the anointed cherub that covereth 그리고and 내가 너를 그렇게 세웠노라I have set thee so: 너는 하나님의 거룩한 산에 있었노라thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; 너는 불의 돌들 한가운데서 위 아래로 걸어다녔노라thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. / 15 너는 네가 창조된 그 날부터 네 안에서 불법이 발견될 때까지는 네 길들에서 완전했었도다Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

(시 51:5) 보소서 저는 불법안에서 형성되었나이다 그리고 죄안에서 제 어머니가 저를 수태하였나이다Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
(롬 3:23) 이는 모두가 죄를 지어 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못했기 때문이라For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

(막 3:23) 그리고And 그he분께서 그들을 자기에게로 불러called them unto him, and 그들에게 비유들로 말씀하셨더라said unto them in parables, “사탄이 어떻게 사탄을 내쫓을 수 있느냐How can Satan cast out Satan?”
(막 3:28-30) 진실로Verily 내가 너희에게 말하노라I say unto you, “사람들의 아들들에게는unto the sons of men 모든 죄들이 용서되느니라All sins shall be forgiven 그리고and 그들이 저지르는 불경(不敬)들blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme도 그러하느니라. / 29 그러나But 성령님께 불경을 저지르는 자he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost는 결코 용서를 갖지 못하고hath never forgiveness 오히려 영원한 저주의 위험에 있느니라but is in danger of eternal damnation. / 30 이는Because 그들they이 ‘그에게 부정한 영이 있다He hath an unclean spirit’고 말하였기said 때문이라.”
